He has studied Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Middlesex University in London.

He started his professional career as a civil engineer with significant experience in various projects. After completing his studies, he worked in the UK as an executive in a Holiday Inn chain hotel (5*). Returning to Greece, he undertook the construction & organization of the family business Thraki Palace Thalasso Spa Hotel & Conference Center (now Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Thraki). With the beginning of the operation, he took over the Sales and Marketing department of the venue, along with his administrative duties as Vice President of Board.

He is the President of the Hoteliers Association of Thrace, a board member of the Chamber of the Prefecture of Evros (as President of the Tourism Department) and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. Finally, he was Treasurer at HAPCO (Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers), member of the Tourism Committee of the Prefecture of Evros as well as a board member of the Tourism Enterprise of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis (TIEDA)
